Though the Tallahassee, FL–based band had already found enormous success on the rock charts with their multiplatinum-selling 1997 debut, Human Clay would make them mainstream stars. Driven by the anthemic, first single “Higher,” Human Clay debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200, and Creed quickly became one of the biggest bands in the world. “Higher” spent a whopping 57 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at Number Seven. In July of the following year, the band scored their first Number One hit on the pop charts with the third single, “With Arms Wide Open.” The track—which frontman Scott Stapp wrote when he found out that he was going to be a father—earned the band a GRAMMY for Best Rock Song in 2001.
To-date, Human Clay has sold well over 11 million copies in the U.S., earning a rare Diamond certification from the RIAA, joining the ranks of the Beatles’ Abbey Road, Prince’s Purple Rain and Nirvana’s Nevermind. It remains one of the top-selling albums of all-time in the United States.

Social Distortion formed in Orange County, CA, with frontman Mike Ness and guitarist Dennis Danell at the helm. With their distinctive blend of punk and primitive rock ‘n’ roll, the four-piece (whose bassists and drummers would fluctuate over those years) found equal influences in bands like the Sex Pistols, the Ramones, and the Clash as well as the early country music of Hank Williams and the classic blues of artists like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and Lightnin’ Hopkins.
2004’s much-anticipated Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll marked the group’s first studio album in eight years, following 1996’s White Light, White Heat, White Trash and two solo records from Ness. The band had also taken time to refocus after the sudden death of founding member Dennis Danell at just 38. Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll found a grieving Ness looking inward, but it also produced some of the band’s most acclaimed material. Highlights include the opening track, “Reach for the Sky,” which became one of the band’s biggest hits, as well as the introspective "Live Before You Die," and the hopeful "Don't Take Me For Granted," written for Danell.

Recorded in 1967 and featuring the Grammy Hall of Fame singer-actress’ favorite romantic standards, The Love Album represented the most sensual, intimate vocals of Day's legendary career. It’s considered by critics to be among her best from the 1960’s and Day considered it her favorite album.

When Monster was released in September 1994, the members of R.E.M. were at a crossroads in their career. Singer Michael Stipe, guitarist Peter Buck, bassist Mike Mills and drummer Bill Berry were decompressing from the massive commercial and critical success of 1991’s Out of Time and 1992’s Automatic for the People. In just a few years, the Athens, GA, four-piece had become one of the biggest, most recognizable bands in the world. It had also been six years since the group had toured. By the time that work began on Monster, they were itching to end their self-imposed hiatus and get back on the road. The band was also looking for a sonic shake-up. While R.E.M.’s last two albums were full of ballads, acoustic rock songs and intricate arrangements, the group was ready to record something grittier, brasher and highly playable on stage.
Celebrating Monster's 25th anniversary, this 180-gram single disc edition offers the original album remastered. Highlights include the singles “What’s The Frequency, Kenneth?,” “Crush with Eyeliner,” “Star 69,” “Strange Currencies,” “Tongue,” and “Bang and Blame.”
